THERE IS NO TO WATCH THIS WEBINAR:

This recorded webinar is going to target teachers who need assistance transitioning to remote learning as school closures have impacted districts nationwide. Join Dr. Jorge Velastegui, a veteran educator with over 24 years experience in public education as he presents in a low anxiety and user-friendly manner designed to help even the most novice teacher feel comfortable with technology. Attendees will develop the confidence, technical skills and pedagogy to successfully implement and design remote lessons for their students.

During these difficult times, it is important to maintain some type of routine and stability with our students. Thanks to the technology available to us as educators, we can continue instruction for our students. Numerous educational companies are also making their products free during this time.

This webinar will help teachers maintain continuity and demonstrate best practices for remote learning. Traditional tasks completed in school settings such as direct instruction, promoting student collaboration, class discussions, as well as assigning, collecting and grading student work are all possible in a remote learning environment. Dr. Velastegui will help give you ideas on how to flip your classroom, deliver content to students, conduct online student discussions, find instructional videos, make your own instructional videos, have students build their own digital portfolios, and provide guidance on how to conduct virtual field trips.
