Dr. Jorge Velastegui has over 24 years experience in public education. He has worked as an elementary school teacher, elementary school principal, and is currently a high school Social Science teacher.
Dr. Velastegui was an adjunct faculty member at the University of California, Irvine where he taught courses on educational technology and instructional design. He currently teaches in the Educational Technology Master's Degree program at California State University, Fullerton.
Dr. Velastegui has a Master's Degree in Educational Technology Leadership from UCI and a doctorate in education from the joint UCI/UCLA Ed.D. program.
He is passionate about the potential of educational technology to transform schools, engage students and promote higher level critical thinking skills.
