What an exciting time of year for our students. Not only is December the month of incredible fun with the holidays, the first week is Computer Science week and the Hour of Code. Coding has changed our world and opened up new opportunities and frontiers for many around the world. 

To start off this week, listen to a message from NASA at the International Space Station!

No matter which coding program you chose to take your students through this week, your students will have the opportunity to grow their excitement to code with others around the world. We love what Code.org is doing with block coding for families and younger students, and of course Codestop.io in partnership with Beyond Technology Education for our older students. Take some time to explore and have fun with your students and families.

It is also exciting to see your classroom photos and projects on social media. Feel free to tag @beyondk12 and we will share what your school is doing with technology!
